Walt Davis retired as Vice President of Motorola in Research and Development and has spent over 30 years with that company in the engineering development of electronic devices used throughout the world everyday. From the pager to the cell phone, to the electronics in your car and many other advances in the business, Walt holds over 96 patents for his contribution to this industry. He presently serves on the Board of Directors of several high-tech companies in the United States and Canada. Walt has a great love for the beauty and spirit of the Arabian horse, and enjoys the change of pace from high-tech to the daily routines of interacting with these beautiful horses. Sharon Davis has a background in the Social and Medical Sciences. A Certified Pediatric Emergency Nurse, with a background in a large pediatric facility, Sharon brings her interest in genetics, and biology to the breeding and health programs of the horses, and personally participated in foaling out all but two of the foals conceived at Singinghearts Farm. Her interest in Arabians began at a young age, but ownership did not come until 1998 with the purchase of the two foundation mares: EE Karmel (Baskafire x Valhallas Karma) and Joras Honey Queen (CSA Dallas x Jora Tez by Jora Honey Ku). Both mares now have Champion offspring that have excelled in Halter and Performance divisions. |
